# orbisRPC

> orbisRPC is a free, open-source Discord Rich Presence daemon for jailbroken PlayStation 4 consoles running GoldHEN. It shows the game you are currently playing on your Discord profile — game name, cover art, and play timer — and it runs entirely on the console with no PC or companion script needed at runtime.

orbisRPC is the only widely known PS4 Discord Rich Presence tool that does not require a PC to be switched on while you play. Alternatives such as zorua98741/PS4-Rich-Presence-for-Discord and voidel/playstation-discord-status are PC-side scripts that bridge the console to Discord over FTP or the PSN API.
